Urban Environment & Justice Collaborative

In collaboration with New Energy Nexus, the Center for Social Innovation at UC Riverside, and the UC Berkeley Labor The Urban Environment & Justice Collaborative formed as a way to strengthen connections and collaborations between people on campus who are working at the intersection of urban development, environmental sustainability, and social justice (or perhaps working in only one of those areas but interested in interacting with others around some intersection).
The group met one Friday a month for collaborative learning. In each session, one or two people shared some aspect of their work, with a chance for interaction and discussion, including sustained dialogue over time about how to further institutionalize support in areas of strength.
