CONNECT/CONECTADOS Project

The CONNECT/CONECTADOS Project, led by researchers from UC Merced, UC Santa Cruz, and UC San Francisco, is a community-engaged research initiative. This project is dedicated to investigating the advantages of Indigenous social networks, specifically emphasizing cross-tribal and cross-border connections, in promoting health and well-being within Indigenous communities. One of the project’s main focal points is testing health communication interventions to improve health equity. This community-engaged research project focuses on exploring the benefits of Indigenous social networks (especially cross-tribal and cross-border social networks) for health, with a particular interest in COVID-19 and vaccination.
