Confronting Climate Change: Food Security in a Changing World

Confronting Climate Change is an annual public lecture series that brings together luminaries and the community to discuss the latest in climate science and policy, and share solutions to protect our planet’s wellbeing. The series is free and encourages audience participation!

This year’s theme is Food Security and how we can adapt to feed a growing population during unprecedented changes in our planet’s climate, culture, and political landscape.

The UC Santa Cruz Division of Physical and Biological Sciences, Division of Social Sciences, and Division of Arts invite you to the seventh annual Confronting Climate Change Conference. This year’s event will include two short on-demand films curated by the Division of Arts with a panel discussion of the films on April 28, and a panel discussion on the topic of Food Security hosted by the Division of  Physical and Biological Sciences and the Division of Social Sciences on April 29. Both events are free and will be conducted virtually.
