Reel Work: Labor Action in Education

Film screening followed by panel discussion with speakers and Q&A with audience. Music by the Mike Stout Trio at 6:30pm.

UCSC Center for Labor & Community and Reel Work Labor Film Festival present three films:

• Alma Mater – experiences of striking grad students at UCSC

• The Wisconsin TA Strike – an early action of organizedn graduate students

• When We Fight – United Teachers of Los Angeles’ successful 2019 strike
