About the Collaborative
Urban Environment & Justice Collaborative
The Urban Environment & Justice Collaborative formed as a way to strengthen connections and collaborations between people on campus who are working at the intersection of urban development, environmental sustainability, and social justice (or perhaps working in only one of those areas but interested in interacting with others around some intersection).
We meet one Friday a month from 12:00 – 2:00 PM for collaborative learning. In each session, one or two people share some aspect of their work, with a chance for interaction and discussion, and ideally sustained dialogue over time about how we can further institutionalize support in our areas of strength.
Contact the Institute for Social Transformation at transform@ucsc.edu to join the collaborative.
