Silent Speech, Migratory Gesture: 55th Annual Faculty Research Lecture

The UC Santa Cruz Academic Senate is delighted to invite you to the 55th Annual Faculty Research Lecture featuring Professor Jennifer González, Department of History of Art and Visual Culture.

In this talk, Professor González will explore speech and silence in the history of art, with a special emphasis on the role of art as a form of political democracy.

A reception will be held following the program.

• Parking permits will be available for purchase for $5 in lots 164/165. Please follow the event signage at the base of campus and a parking attendant will assist you.
